Several rooms, one well-thought-out system
In houses on the Zimmerberg, many customers want to cool not just one room, but the sleeping floor, the office in the attic or the living area with large windows. A multi-split system is often the right solution here: one outdoor unit supplies several indoor units, which are controlled individually.
On slopes and in densely built neighbourhoods, the location of the outdoor unit is particularly important – for the neighbours, for the appearance of the façade and for later servicing. During the site visit we take time to go through the options with you.
From Adliswil we quickly reach Thalwil, Horgen and the other Zimmerberg municipalities.

What we check during the site visit
Which rooms are to be cooled, and how large are they? Where can the outdoor unit be placed, and how long will the lines be? Where does the condensate drain? And how do the units remain easily accessible for filter cleaning and maintenance?
In the Canton of Zurich, air conditioning and ventilation systems are not subject to private inspection; the noise protection certificate is checked by the authorities (Source: Canton of Zurich). We clarify with you whether an application to the municipality is necessary.
Official information without guarantee – the requirements of the canton, municipality and federal government are authoritative.

FAQ
Questions about: air conditioning Thalwil & Horgen
One multi-split or several individual split units?
A multi-split saves space on the façade because one outdoor unit supplies several indoor units. Several individual units are independent of each other. Which is the better fit depends on the rooms, pipe routes and space.
Can the outdoor unit go on the terrace or flat roof?
Often yes. Noise towards neighbours, condensate, structural load or fixing and access for service are important. We look at the possible locations during the site visit.
Can the air conditioning also heat?
Split and multi-split units work as air/air heat pumps and can also heat rooms. This does not automatically replace an existing heating system – we assess that on a case-by-case basis.
Do you also maintain systems in Horgen and Thalwil that you did not install?
Yes. We also carry out maintenance and repairs on third-party systems – once or with a maintenance contract.
In which municipalities on the Zimmerberg do you work?
Among others in Thalwil, Horgen, Oberrieden, Rüschlikon, Kilchberg, Langnau am Albis and Wädenswil – and throughout the Zurich area.
