Air conditioning for attics, bedrooms and flats

In Allschwil, Schönenbuch, Binningen, Oberwil BL and Basel, attic flats, bedrooms, children's rooms and home offices in particular get very hot in summer. A single split unit is often enough for one room; for several rooms, a multi-split system with one outdoor unit supplies several individually controlled indoor units.

Split and multi-split units work as air-to-air heat pumps and can also heat rooms. For your main heating – heating replacement or an air-to-water heat pump – we are also your contact as heating installers.

What we check during the site visit

Which rooms are to be cooled, and how large are they? Where can the outdoor unit be placed, and how long will the lines be? Where does the condensate drain? And how do the units remain easily accessible for filter cleaning and maintenance?

Noise protection rules apply to the outdoor unit; depending on the system, a noise protection certificate is required. Whether a notification or building application to the municipality is needed depends on the rules of the canton of Basel-Landschaft and the municipality – we clarify this with you during planning.

Official information without guarantee – the requirements of the canton, municipality and federal government are authoritative.

FAQ

Questions about: air conditioning Allschwil

Where can I find an air conditioning installer in Allschwil?

Infra Haustechnik GmbH (UID CHE-477.401.376) installs air conditioning (split, multi-split, VRF) in Allschwil as an air conditioning company, AC installer and refrigeration technician – installation, service and maintenance from one source, for all brands. Contact: 076 358 43 21, info@infrahaustechnik.ch.

Do I need a permit for air conditioning in Allschwil?

That depends on the system and location. Noise protection rules apply to the outdoor unit (noise protection certificate); whether a notification or building application is needed is regulated by the canton and municipality. We clarify this during planning. Official information without guarantee.

Can the air conditioner also heat?

Yes. Split and multi-split units work as air-to-air heat pumps and can also heat rooms. They do not automatically replace an existing heating system – we assess this case by case. We are also your contact for heating and heat pumps.

Do you also service air conditioners in Allschwil that you did not install?

Yes. We also handle maintenance, service and repairs for third-party systems of all brands – once or with a maintenance contract.

Do you have a location in Allschwil?

No. Our head office is at Baumgartenweg 3, 8134 Adliswil. Allschwil and the surrounding area (Schönenbuch, Binningen, Oberwil BL and Basel) are part of our service area – we come to you for site visits, installation and maintenance.

Split or multi-split – what suits my flat in Allschwil?

For one room, a split unit is usually enough. A multi-split supplies several rooms from one outdoor unit and saves space on the façade. What suits best depends on the rooms, pipe routes and space for the outdoor unit – we check this during the site visit.
